When was the last time you sat down with paper and pen and wrote? I don’t mean you wrote a grocery list or scribbled a short note. I mean you sat and scribbled pages of notes. If you’re like many people, it has been ages since you put pen to paper.
This week I have taken pen to paper three times.
It has been freeing to use paper and pen. I hear it is a physiological high to sit and write with pen to paper. Writer’s high instead of runner’s high – I love it! I wrote two presentations with notebook paper being torn out and flown around. I crumpled paper and prayed my favorite pen didn’t run out of ink. It was a truly inspiring experience.
Today I went to my favorite coffee shop and got a dirty soy chai. I took out my purple pen and the notebook my BFF sent me for Christmas as scribbled these 102 blog post ideas:

I think I may use some of your suggestions! And just how many ways are there to eat cake and drink coffee? I look forward to your post on that.
I had a friend a long time ago taking pictures of people eating cake that he was making into a movie of some sort. I know our group celebrated everything with cake and had a blast eating cake — with a fork, face only, with each other. It got really silly. I don’t want to steal his idea BUT as far as I know it remains an unfinished project. Ways to drink coffee? on the patio, in a chair, in the morning, in the afternoon, alone, witha friend, with chai, with sugar, with a clown…there are LOTS of ways to drink coffee!
